1. Owner's Risk All consignments accepted for dispatch through the carrier are entirely at the owner's risk.
2. Force Majeure & Liability The company does not hold itself responsible for any kind of losses, damages, leakage, breakage, or pilferage cost due to weather conditions, risk, riots, political & other disturbances such as explosion, accident, or flood beyond our control for goods that are transported.
3. Unknown Contents The conditions, contents, and value of the consignments inside the goods are not known to Deepak Roadlines Pvt. Ltd.
4. Consignor Liability The Consignor is liable for all consequences arising out of incorrect declaration of the contents of the consignment. The company does not hold itself responsible for the delay in arrival for delivery of goods at the destination.
5. Damage & Perishables The company is not responsible for internal damage to contents of packages or damages to the goods or damages to perishable articles by deterioration or damages to brittle articles and for liquid consignment breakages or carrying at owner's risk. We are also not responsible for leakage and damages.
6. Delivery Protocol Delivery of goods should be taken from our godown in case of "Self Goods". If less than a lorry load, it cannot be delivered to the consignee's address; the same should be collected by the consignee when the lorry driver informs the place where the consignment is kept.
7. Demurrage / Storage Charges Delivery of goods should be taken within a week from the date of its arrival in our godown. Failing which, a nominal godown rent @ ₹80/- per quintal (or part thereof) per day will be charged.
8. Surrender of G.R. The Consignee copy of the G.R. (Goods Receipt) should be surrendered by the consignee or by their duly authorized representative at the time of collection of goods only in case of "SELF" goods. For other consignees, they should acknowledge receipt while accepting delivery.
9. Reporting Non-Receipt The Consignee should report to us if the goods are not received within 10 days from the date of G.R. issued. If no report is received within the same time, the Company is not responsible even if goods are being detained, seized, or confiscated by government authority.
10. Unclaimed Goods If the delivery of goods is not taken within one month, the Company will not be responsible for the goods, and the same will be auctioned to recover costs.
11. Post-Delivery Responsibility The company will not be responsible for goods after delivery is taken from the godown.
